How to create an update USB stick for DEWETRON TRIONET devices (Windows)

Purpose of this document:
 * Creation of a bootable USB Stick that is able to update the
   OS image of DEWETRON TRIONet devices
   TRIONet software is included (TRIONet Firmware R3.3.x build 3.3.xxxxx.00)
 * Description how the image.img.gz can be updated for newer
   TRIONet software releases

Needed:
 * Empty USB Stick (size must be 8GB or larger)
 * File: trionet_update_stick_image_*.img.zip (part of package)
 * Tool: win32diskimager.exe
   part of package or download at
   https://sourceforge.net/projects/win32diskimager/
 * a TORX screw driver


USB stick creation:
 * Extract TRIONET update archive (TRIONET_UPDATE_USB.zip)
   Following files should be available after unzipping:
   * trionet_update_stick_image_*.img.zip
   * Win32DiskImager-0.9.5-install.exe
   * README.txt
 * Extract trionet_update_stick.zip
   Following file should be available after unzipping:
   * trionet_update_stick_image_*.img
 * Run Win32DiskImager-0.9.5-install.exe (if not already installed)
 * Run Win32DiskImager (must be run as administrator)
 * Plug in the USB stick
   (Must not be empty, but be aware all exsting data will be deleted)
 * Win32 Disk Imager:
   * Select the USB stick in "Device"
   * Select the "trionet_update_stick_image_*.img" file in "Image File"
   * Again check if the correct USB stick is selected
   * Select "Write" and wait until the action is completed
   * Congratulation! The update USB stick for TRIONET is ready.



TRIONet firmware update:
 * Turn off the TRIONet device
 * Remove the left side panel to get access to the USB ports
   You will need a TORX screw driver!
 * Plug the update USB stick into the "blue" USB3.0 USB port
   Usually this is the lower one.
 * Turn on the TRIONet device
   After about 30 seconds the display should show
   "Update started. Do not power off"
   Info: The update process may take up to 5 minutes.
   It is finished when the display shows:
   "Upd ok - Power off. Remove USB Stick"
 * Turn off the TRIONet device
 * Unplug the USB stick from the device.
 * Mount the side panel again
 * Turn on the TRIONet device

The TRIONet device is reset back to its factory defaults:
 * DHCP


You can reconfigure the device using DEWE2Explorer.
